Description

Lost rights, found justice? is a photography competition and exhibition aiming to increase public understanding of the rights and situation of refugees, migrants and asylum seekers through creative visual and legal tools. The exhibition will include photographs selected by a panel of experts in photography and on refugee/migrant issues following a public call for submissions. The opening event will feature a guided commentary with our human rights experts enabling audiences to expand their knowledge of the legal framework in an accessible manner, and a workshop by documentary photographer Kevin McElvaney on his photography project #RefugeeCameras. This event is co-organised by the Human Rights Consortium and the Refugee Law Initiative.
